UK-born Israeli Alex is a hands-on animation director. He worked at Pixar for three years on short films and on Finding Nemo and The Incredibles.
Later, Alex and his wife Michelle started a little animation studio that produced client work, including Wile E. Coyote and RoadRunner cartoons for WB Animation, and some secret work for Disney Interactive. They also developed original animation concepts, one of which was optioned by Paramount pictures in 2013.
Alex decided to focus on storyboarding and directing animation after his role on Yogi Bear 3D at Warner Bros Pictures. In 2014 he was hired to direct the South American animated feature film, Condorito, based on the famous comic strip. It will be released in October 2017 by Fox International.
Currently providing storyboards for KLAUS (The SPA studio), Alex works from his home studio in Israel, and on site as required.
