UK-born Israeli Alex is a hands-on animation director. He worked at Pixar for three years on short films and on Finding Nemo and The Incredibles.
Later, Alex and his wife Michelle started a little animation studio that produced client work, including Wile E. Coyote and RoadRunner cartoons for WB Animation, and some secret work for Disney Interactive. They also developed original animation concepts, one of which was optioned by Paramount pictures in 2013.
Alex decided to focus on storyboarding and directing animation after his role on Yogi Bear 3D at Warner Bros Pictures. In 2014 he was hired to direct the South American animated feature film, Condorito, based on the famous comic strip, released in October 2017 by Fox International, then he was Co-Director of the animated feature KLAUS for Netflix created by SPA studio in Spain, released in 2019. After that Alex was Head of Story on Space Jam: A New Legacy with the Warner Animation Group. It was released in 2021.
Today Alex is engaged in a number of clients projects and continues to develop and pitching his animated feature Dream On.
Alex works from his home studio in Israel, and on site as required.
